Plantain - (Plantago lanceolata). Common Names: Waybread, round-leaved plantain, Englishman's foot, common plantain. (NOT the banana like fruit.)

Organic, kosher. May sooth inflammation, infection, or injuries of the skin, lungs, urinary, & digestive systems. It is a bulk-forming, mucilaginous laxative that can help with IBS, ulcerative colitis, & constipation. A diuretic.

Energetically:  Cooling. Taste: Bitter, sweet, salty.

Ancients use it for healing, strength, protection, & snake repelling.

Warning: ALWAYS consume with at least 8 oz. water to prevent bowel blockage. Stop using if you have a rare skin reaction after topical use.

For Tea: Barely boil 8 oz. water, add 1 teaspoon of the loose herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs or leave them in the tea for a super strong brew), steep 15 minutes. Sweeten with a natural sweetener if desired. Nurture your body with up to 3 cups a day.
