Spirit Rising Florida, LLC is owned by Angela and Michael Canady.  Our mission is to challenge beings to explore themselves through the Ancient Ways. Our hand-crafted tribal style hand drums and rattles are modern ways of creating tools that have been used for thousands of years by every culture. We strive to help people back to a simpler life that is in balance with the earth; giving and taking herbs, crystals and energy only as needed.

Our Story: 

Spirit Rising Florida, LLC was born from our spiritual journey. Angela's path began with learning Usui Reiki Ryoho in 2002. In 2016, we faced significant challenges that opened Mike to spiritual experiences as well. Our business evolved organically: in 2017, we acquired a small herb business; in 2019, we attended our first drum birthing workshop; and by 2022, we became drum doulas. Embracing our love for travel, we created a mobile booth in 2020 to bring our passion to festivals and metaphysical events across Florida and the US. The "Story Behind Spirit Rising"  video gets up close and personal with us.

Our Values:

We value integrity, sustainability and fair trade. We believe in personal freedom to explore oneself. You are safe with us! It is important to us to treat everyone with love and respect, regardless of anything that others might use to divide. We don't hold race, gender, age, sex, religion, sexual preference or life-style choices against people. We are an LGBTQ+ small business.

I am Angela, the one that keeps Spirit Rising going. I plan everything, do most of the crafting and all the business shopping. I also have fun with the website stuff. I am a Drum & Rattle Doula, Advanced Theta Healer®, Journey Dance Facilitator, Meditation Guide, Herbalist, and Reiki Master/Teacher. I love chasing waterfalls and crafting! Michael Canady

Mike is my amazing husband. He is a Medicine Man, Intuitive, Spirit Drum Creator & Workshop Guide. We joke around that he is the Spirit Rising pack-mule, but he is actually my rock! I do appreciate that he carries all the heavy stuff around to set up our booth at festivals, though! Michael LOVES digging up rocks! I like finding rocks, so I go dig with him.
