Oak Bark, White  (Quercus alba).

This dried, powdered bark from the USA is used to ease arthritis, diarrhea, colds, fever, cough, and bronchitis. It also supports healthy digestion and improves appetite. Use in bath for pain relief.

Ancients used it as a smudge for protection, strength, and wisdom.

Warning: Use with caution, especially if you are pregnant, have open wounds, digestive problems, heart, liver, or kidney trouble.

For Tea:  Barely boil 8 oz water, add 1/2 teaspoon of the loose herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs or leave them in the tea for a super strong brew), steep 10 to 15 minutes, drink hot. Sweeten with a natural sweetener if desired. Nurture your body with 1 to 3 cups of tea a day.

Topically: Apply to the skin as a compress or add it to bath water for pain  and inflammation. Use caution if you have any skin conditions. Please do more research.
