Organic, dried, cut/sifted leaves & flowers from USA. May be used to ease headache, migraine, pain, inflammation, gas, PMS, cramps, & stress-related tension. It boosts the nervous system, possibly reducing panic attack, tinnitus, vertigo, nausea, & vomiting. Also used as a tincture with water to repel insects or sooth bites.

Energetically: Cooling, dry, warming.

Taste: Bitter, pungent.

Ancients used it to protect against illness & accidents.

Warning: Do not use during pregnancy or if you take blood thinners. High doses may start early menstruation. Use less if it causes an upset stomach.

Directions:

For Tea: Boil 8 oz water, add 1 teaspoon of the loose herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs or leave them in the tea for a super strong brew), steep 10 to 15 minutes. Sweeten with a natural sweetener if desired.

Nurture your body with a cup a day.

Migraine suggestions from Rosemary Gladstar's "Herbal Recipes for Vibrant Health - Pour 1 quart of boiling water over 1 oz. feverfew; add other desired herbs. Steep 20 minutes, covered tightly. Strain and drink 1/4 cup every 30 minutes until the headache is gone.

OR

Dilute 1/4 teaspoon of feverfew tincture in 1/2 cup warm water or lemon balm tea every hour until headache is cleared.
