Mucura (Petiveria alliacea).
These dried leaves from the Amazon are used to treat anxiety, influenza, pneumonia, asthma, cancer, inflammation of the bladder (cystitis), rheumatism, impotence, prevention of dental cavities, hydrops, convulsions, paralysis, venereal diseases, protects liver, cramps, headaches. Also used as an insecticide.
Spiritually it was used in ancient times to protect against attacks from witches, humans, and animals.
Can be combined with wild garlic in an amulet or juju bag and exchanged with a partner for protection and strength.
Excessive use can cause gastrointestinal disorders.
Do not use if pregnant, or trying to become pregnant.
Preparation and administration:
For tea: boil 1 teaspoon of herbs in 8 oz water, for 5 to 10 minutes. (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs if you don't want it to be as "earthy"). Cool and drink before meals.
Start with one cup a day, before a meal, increasing up to 3 cups a day if you want. The best results vary per person. You may need to drink it for a week or so to start seeing a noticeable difference.
For Bath: Soak 2 grams in 1 liter of water overnight. Use to wash your aura of bad luck.
For headaches and topical pain relief: follow the previous directions and apply cold pads of contents on the head or wherever needed.
