Ipururo (Alchormea cataneifolia)
These dried leaves from the Amazon are used to treat rheumatism, colds, coughs, inflammation, vaginal inflammation, erectile dysfunction, and female fertility. It's also an aphrodisiac and glucose balancer.
Preparation and administration:
Vaginal anti-inflammatory wash: Let tea cool to comfort level and apply to the outside vagina.
Boil 8 oz water, add 1 teaspoon of the herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs if you don't want it to be as "earthy"), steep 15 minutes, drink warm or cool. Sweeten as desired.
Add to your hot coffee or tea, let sit 15 minutes, drink it up.
Start with one cup a day, increasing up to 3 cups a day if you want. The best results vary per person. You may need to drink it for a week or so to start seeing a noticeable difference.
