These dried fruits and rhizomes are used to treat digestive problems, bronchial affections, anemia, uterine cancer, vaginal inflammation. It's an aphrodisiac, and can be used to increase appetite.
Preparation and administration:
As a Vaginal anti-inflammatory: Boil 1 teaspoon in 1 liter of water, cool, sift and apply in the form of douching.
OR:
As a Liquor: Empty 1000 grams in ½ liter of brandy, let marinate for 8 days, sift and sweeten with honey. Take a drink to stimulate appetite.
OR:
As a tea: Boil 8 oz water, add 1 teaspoon of the herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs if you don't want it to be as "earthy"), steep 15 minutes, drink warm or cool. Sweeten as desired, I prefer honey.
OR:
Add to your hot coffee or tea, let sit 15 minutes, drink it up.
Start with one cup a day, increasing up to 3 cups a day if you want. The best results vary per person. You may need to drink it for a week or so to start seeing a noticeable difference.
