Anise Seeds (Pimpinella anisum I.).
These dried Anise Seeds were harvested in Egypt. Anise is used as a seasoning and to ease stomach problems, insomnia, asthma, constipation, a cold, unproductive cough, increase urine flow, and as an appetite stimulant. It's also used to promote balanced hormone levels in women, ease menstrual cramps, childbirth, and promote a healthy sex drive.
Ancients used it to for protection, purification, awareness, joy, and psychic development. It was often kept by the bed to prevent bad dreams.
For Tea: Boil 8 oz water, add 1 teaspoon of the loose herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs or leave them in the tea for a super strong brew), steep 10 to 15 minutes, drink hot. Sweeten with a natural sweetener if desired.
