Chuchuhausi (Maytenus macrocarpa).
Directions:In alcoholic infusion: Add 100 grams to one liter of preferred alcohol (vodka, rum, brandy). Let set 7 days. Take a sip in the morning.
For Bath: To relieve pain or treat skin conditions.
As a seasoning, especially in rum.
For Tea: Boil 8 oz water, add 1 teaspoon of the herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs if you don't want it to be as "earthy"), steep 15 minutes, drink warm or cool. Sweeten as desired, I prefer honey.
Add to your hot coffee or tea, let sit 15 minutes, drink it up.
Start with one cup a day, increasing up to 3 cups a day if you want. The best results vary per person. You may need to drink it for a week or so to start seeing a noticeable difference.
