Catnip Leaves (Nepeta cataria).
Other Names: Grandmother's Flannel and Our Lady's Flannel.
This cut/sifted herb from USA can ease intestinal cramps, indigestion, to cause sweating, to induce menstruation, as a sedative, and to increase appetite.
It's been used as a seasoning for soups and stews.
It's usually used in cat toys though!
Directions for tea: Barely boil 8 oz water, add 1 teaspoon of the loose herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs or leave them in the tea for a super strong brew), steep 3 - 4 minutes. Sweeten with a natural sweetener if desired.
Nurture your body with up to 3 cups daily.
