Guinea Hen Weed - Mucura (Petiveria alliacea). 

These loose, ground, dried leaves from the Amazon are used to ease anxiety, the flu, pneumonia, asthma, cancer, inflammation of the bladder (cystitis), rheumatism, impotence, dental cavities, hydrops, convulsions, paralysis, venereal diseases, cramps, headaches, supports the liver. Also used as an insecticide.

Spiritually it was used in ancient times to protect against attacks from witches, humans, and animals.

Can be combined with wild garlic in an amulet or juju bag and exchanged with a partner for protection and strength.

Warnings: Excessive use can cause gastrointestinal disorders.  Drink in cycles, 14 days on, 7 days off. Do not use if pregnant, or trying to become pregnant.


For Tea: Boil 8 oz water, add 1 teaspoon of the loose herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs or leave them in the tea for a super strong brew), steep 10 to 15 minutes, drink hot. Sweeten with a natural sweetener if desired.

Nurture your body with 1 to 3 cups of tea a day.

For Bath: Soak 2 grams in 1 liter of water overnight. Use to wash your aura of bad luck.

To ease headaches and topical pain: follow the previous directions and apply cold pads of contents on the head or wherever needed.

For convulsions: Macerate 150 grams in alcohol or brandy and apply massage onto the body.
