Lemongrass, cut/sifted (Cymbopogon citratus). Common Names: Gandhatrana, Hari-chaha, Bhutrin.
Organic. Kosher, Cut/sifted leaves. From Egypt are used to lower fever & fight infection, boost metabolism, ease skin conditions, anxiety, insomnia, inflammation, lowers cholesterol, detox liver & kidneys, chew on it to freshen your breath (kills the bacteria that causes bad breath). It is a mild sedative that can boost lucid dreaming.
Ancients used it for luck, improving communication, expel bad spirits, strength & purification. It is said to have been used to repel dragons & serpents.
Warning: Avoid use while pregnant. Drinking might bring your period early.
Directions:
For Tea: Barely boil 8 oz water, add 1 teaspoon of the loose herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs or leave them in the tea for a super strong brew), steep 10 - 15 minutes. Sweeten with a natural sweetener if desired.
Nurture your body with a cup at bedtime, and up to 3 cups a day.
