Comfrey Root. (Symphytum officinale). Slippery root, knitbone, blackwort, bruisewort.
Organic, kosher. May ease pain, diarrhea, inflammation, spasms, reduce fever, balance & strengthen liver, boost digestion, increase sweating & urination, reduce bleeding & heal wounds.
Has Tannins, polysaccharides, furanocoumarins, flavonoids, terpenes, silica.
Energetically: Cooling, drying, hot.
Taste: Sweet, bitter, astringent.

For Tea: Barely boil 8 oz. water, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of the loose herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs or leave them in the tea for a super strong brew), steep 10 to 15 minutes. Sweeten with a natural sweetener if desired. Nurture your body with up to 3 cups a day.
