Balsam Pear - Papailla o balsamina (Momordica charianta L.)

These loose herbs are ground whole vine from the Amazon. It's used to balance diabetes, supports a healthy libido, and liver. Eases IBD, malaria, ulcers, uterine fibroids, rheumatism, high blood pressure, and alcoholism. It is an astringent.

We encourage you to do some research on this one, there are many scientific studies that can tell you a lot more.

For Tea: Boil 8 oz water, add 1 teaspoon of the loose herbs (you can use a tea ball, french press, or other way to strain herbs or leave them in the tea for a super strong brew), steep 10 to 15 minutes, drink hot. Sweeten with a natural sweetener if desired.

Nurture your body with 1 to 3 cups of tea a day.

For skin issues. In 2 liters of water add 2 tablespoons, boil for 3 minutes. Let stand, cool and sift. Apply on the affected area.

As Seasoning: Add to soups or stews to produce a bitter flavor.

For tincture :  Add half a cup)100 grams to 4 cups of preferred alcohol (vodka, rum, brandy) or vinegar. Let set 7 days or more. You can scale the recipe down, but be sure to use a container that you're filling up to the rim to prevent mold.

Take a sip 3 times a day until you are better. It's okay to add the tincture to a bit of juice to make it easier to drink. I suggest hold your breath and chug it and have a chaser ready.
